A thirsty echidna has left a trail of destruction as it escaped from lockdown and entered a bottle shop in Kyogle, NSW.
The cheeky culprit was caught on CCTV camera, entering a BWS in Kyogle, NSW. The video shared by BWS shows the curious creature strolling down the aisles before heading to the fridge section.
They wrote on the video:
"Tell me you're thirsty without telling me you're thirsty.
Local echidna in Kyogle NSW knows where the drinks are at”

According to animal welfare organisation, Wires Northern Rivers, a store member arrived at work and found a terrible mess with lots of broken bottles on the floor. They mistakenly thought the shop had been broken into by vandals.
Upon finding the culprit curled up under some shelving, the worker called WIRES to relocate the echidna. They said it had good taste, choosing to hide under bottles of Champagne which it had smashed all over the floor.
The echidna was relocated and released with no injuries. WIRES added, "The Echidna moved away in a straight line, it had obviously not consumed too much Champagne during the night."

3, 2, 1…. Seagull! A 13-year-old has had the fright of her life as she took a ride on a slingshot and was struck by a seagull at 120km per hour.
The viral footage was captured of the teen and her friend as they prepared to get their reaction on the extreme thrill ride. As if the ride itself wasn’t scary enough, as they are launched up, 13-year-old Kiley Holman on the right is struck by a bird out of nowhere.
As the bird is stuck with its wings spread across her neck and pulled up by the force of the ride, Holman in shock pulls the bird off her face, and then it appears to fly away.
The incident occurred at Morey’s Piers on Jersey Shore. Holman was there celebrating her friend Georgia Reed’s 14th birthday. The 18-second clip was uploaded on July 13 by Robert Reed.
The ride the girls were on is called the SpringShot, a two-person ride that uses steel aircraft cables to spring riders straight up into the air. The ride shoots riders to speeds over 75MPH (120km/h).
Luckily, Holman wasn’t injured during the ordeal, and joked during an interview with Inside Edition:
“I’m glad it didn’t poop on me.”

Dolly Parton has recreated her 1978 Playboy Magazine cover for her husband Carl’s birthday.
The 75-year-old country singer told her followers on social media in a video that some time back, she promised to pose on Playboy magazine when she turned 75.
Because the magazine doesn’t exist in the same format anymore, she thought she’d have her own photoshoot to surprise her husband. She posted, "It’s always #HotGirlSummer for my husband, Carl 💝 Happy birthday my love!"

In the video, she says, "You’re probably wondering why I’m dressed like this, well it’s for my husband’s birthday. Remember some time back I said that I was gonna pose on the Playboy Magazine when I was 75? Well, I’m 75 and they don’t have a magazine anymore but my husband and I always loved the original cover of Playboy, so I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy.
"He still think’s I’m a hot chick after 57 years. And I’m not gonna try talk him out of that and I hope he agrees, what do you think?”
The video ends with a photo of Dolly presenting the two photos side by side in a frame to her husband and adds, "Do you think Playboy oughta pay me for at least a photoshoot? I do!”
Her husband Carl Dean turned 79 on July 20, 2021 and the pair met when Parton was only eighteen. Only two years later on May 30, 1966, they were married.
“Well, I don't plan to retire. I just turned 74!“ With her signature charm and unique voice, it’s so easy to see why fans will always love @DollyParton #60Mins pic.twitter.com/RlPme7tumJ

In an interview with 60 Minutes Australia earlier in 2020, she said, "I plan to be on the cover of Playboy Magazine again. I thought it'd be such a hoot if they go for it, I don't know if they will. If I could be on the cover again when I'm 75."
Parton was just 32 when she graced the cover of her issue of Playboy Magazine in 1978.
