Ted Lasso's grumpy yet likeable footballer with a foul mouth is making his way to the worlds biggest children's program and in this case, his "F" word will be "Fantastic"!

Brett Goldstein who plays the character Roy Kent in the popular show on Apple+ has revealed via his Instagram account that he is indeed appearing on an upcoming episode of Sesame Street.

In the scene that has been released Goldstein can be seen in Oscar the Grouch's trash can letting out an unimpressed grunt as Big Bird wanders past exclaiming what a beautiful day it is.

"I finally found my way to Sesame Street (all you have to do is ask, through the medium of song) and it was more wonderful than I could have imagined. Everyone was so funny and brilliant and friendly and kind. I managed to get to say hi to all the residents except Snuffleupagus who was sleeping (although I saw him sleeping and he snores less than you’d think". He wrote.

The character of Roy Kent spends most of the two seasons of "Ted Lasso" being a grouch but the same can't be said for Brett in real life as he comes across as a softly spoken lovable guy. It's those acting chops that earned him the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a comedy series.

"I met a kindred spirit the other day. I told him we had a lot in common. He told me to scram." He wrote on Twitter.

We can all look forward to seeing Brett Goldstein as himself in the episode of Sesame Street and as Roy Kent when Ted Lasso returns for its third and reportedly last season on AppleTV+ later this year.

Pack your bags, this new Aussie airline has cheap-as-chips flights to all of your favourite places!

Say goodbye to mundane work days, and hello to being footloose and fancy-free, as new airline Bonza drops a stack of new (budget-friendly) flight routes.

The low-cost domestic airline has just announced 25 routes between 16 regional locations that will be on offer from the middle of the year, with flights scheduled for some of your favourite locations in Australia's eastern states.

The carrier will offer flights between Albury, Avalon, Bundaberg, Cairns, Coffs Harbour, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne, Mildura, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba Wellcamp, Townsville and the Whitsunday Coast.

Dropping the news on their socials, the Bonza marketing peeps quipped, "Don't say we never treat ya!".

Bonza have declared the Sunshine Coast and Melbourne as their two airport bases for 8 new planes.

Tickets are set to go on sale within two weeks, with the first flights launching in mid-2022.

Bonza CEO Tim Jordan says the carrier wants to make regional travel easier, instead of adding to the already saturated capital city routes.

"With destinations ranging from Albury to the Whitsundays, travellers will now be able to fly, instead of impossibly long road trips as well as fly direct without a stopover in a major city," Mr Jordan said in a statement.

"Aussies can look forward to enjoying more time at their destination and spending less of their hard earned cash getting there in the first place."

australias favourite tim tam flavour revealed

The 16th of February celebrates National Tim Tam Day and it’s been revealed what Australia’s favourite Tim Tam flavour is. Arnott’s have done some research and have settled the age-old flavour debate.

The research found that the Original Tim Tam is Australia’s favourite flavour with Chewy Caramel following in second place. Original topped the survey with 37% of votes, followed by Chewy Caramel (14%), Double Coat (13.55%), Dark Chocolate (13.02%), Choc Mint (10%) and finally White Chocolate (9%).

As well as revealing Australia’s favourite flavour, the survey also revealed some interesting facts based on each state. Victorians preferred Dark Chocolate over Chewy Caramel with 15% of the votes as well as NSW, with 14% of votes towards Dark Chocolate slightly above Chewy Caramel with 13%. Western Australian's preferred Double Coat ahead of Chewy Caramel with 13% and South Australian's preferred Choc Mint coming in second place with 17%.

Arnott’s also partnered with scientists to show us what happens to the brain when we eat Tim Tams and why we love them so much. Tim Tam teamed up with Australia’s best QEEG and Brain Mapping experts to measure what happens in the brain before and after you bite into a Tim Tam.

Tim Tam Brain Scan

Tim Lucas, Neurologist at the Neurofeedback Centre, said about the experience, “When the brain is aroused and actively engaged in mental activities, it generates beta waves. These waves tend to sit on a relatively low amplitude but move the fastest and at a higher frequency. So, when our minds are vastly engaged or highly aroused, a spike in beta waves will be a sign of that.

“When Arnott’s told us about their yet-to-be-launched and most indulgent Tim Tam range ever, we were curious to understand what indulging in one might do to Aussie brains. We entered the experiment quite doubtful we’d see drastic results that might indicate pleasure. So, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that smelling a Tim Tam Deluxe – let alone biting into one – quite literally lit up the brains and activated the high beta waves in ways we’d never seen before, in every one of the clients we tested.”

The study also went deeper into Australia’s favourite ways to indulge with a poll revealing 47% would choose to devour a pack of Tim Tam biscuits over having an alcoholic beverage. Interestingly, more than a third of Aussies (37%) would prefer a pack of Tim Tams over cuddling their pets and over a quarter (30%) would rather slam a Tim Tam than cuddle their child or loved ones.

It comes after Arnott’s released their new Tim Tam Deluxe Range earlier in the year with four decadent and extra gooey flavours. The four flavours Decadent Triple Choc, Salted Caramel Brownie, Dark Chocolate Raspberry Tart and Dark Choc Mint are available at all major grocery stores in the biscuit aisle and retail for $4.50. Netflix has premiered a teaser trailer for season two of “Bridgerton” ahead of its much-anticipated arrival on March 25th.

"Dear reader, did you miss me? Lady Whistledown returns for Season 2 of Bridgerton March 25, 2022, only on Netflix."

The first episode will be called "Capital R Rake" and it's believed that the show will follow Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), the eldest Bridgerton sibling and Viscount, as he sets out to find a suitable wife.

It seems we won't see the return of the Duke of Hastings, Rege-Jean Page, for the second season. He previously said he wasn't returning to the show in a full-time capacity meaning he may yet be a guest appearance.

It could all just be a trick to surprise us with a spectacular entry.

Bridgerton has already been renewed for seasons 3 and 4  and season 2 arrives on March 25th after the first season premiered in December of 2020.
