Ted Lasso's grumpy yet likeable footballer with a foul mouth is making his way to the worlds biggest children's program and in this case, his "F" word will be "Fantastic"!

Brett Goldstein who plays the character Roy Kent in the popular show on Apple+ has revealed via his Instagram account that he is indeed appearing on an upcoming episode of Sesame Street.

In the scene that has been released Goldstein can be seen in Oscar the Grouch's trash can letting out an unimpressed grunt as Big Bird wanders past exclaiming what a beautiful day it is.

"I finally found my way to Sesame Street (all you have to do is ask, through the medium of song) and it was more wonderful than I could have imagined. Everyone was so funny and brilliant and friendly and kind. I managed to get to say hi to all the residents except Snuffleupagus who was sleeping (although I saw him sleeping and he snores less than you’d think". He wrote.

The character of Roy Kent spends most of the two seasons of "Ted Lasso" being a grouch but the same can't be said for Brett in real life as he comes across as a softly spoken lovable guy. It's those acting chops that earned him the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a comedy series.

"I met a kindred spirit the other day. I told him we had a lot in common. He told me to scram." He wrote on Twitter.

We can all look forward to seeing Brett Goldstein as himself in the episode of Sesame Street and as Roy Kent when Ted Lasso returns for its third and reportedly last season on AppleTV+ later this year.
