Netflix has announced the release date for their Marilyn Monroe biopic “Blonde” and teased us with a glimpse of the amazing Ana de Armas who will be playing the iconic figure on film.

Ana of course has had an amazing last few years with her stand-out roles in films like “Knives Out” and “No Time to Die” amongst others.

The New Zealand-born Australian director behind films like “Chopper,” “The Assassination of Jesse James” and “Killing Them Softly” Andrew Dominik is helming the project based on the bestselling novel released in 2000 by Joyce Carol Oates.

The book is a fictional account of the life of Marilyn Monroe that takes a lot of creative licence with her world in almost fantastical ways.

As the teaser shows, we'll see how torn she was from her public persona and private life.

This week we also saw some amazing imagery related to the film from Aussie artist "Bosslogic" who is more known for his work with the likes of Marvel and DC.

His take on the premise is breathtaking.

"Blonde" will see a September 23rd release date on the streaming service.

Buzz Lightyear is back, but this time he’s taking on more than just space adventures. He's got real life problems.

Although there are rumours of a Toy Story 5 on the drawing board, the movie Lightyear is not a sequel but rather a spin-off of the franchise.

Lightyear tells the story of the human Buzz Lightyear and how our favourite space ranger became immortalised as a toy action figure that Andy has in the first Toy Story movie back in 1995.

While spending years attempting to return home, marooned Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear encounters an army of ruthless robots commanded by Zurg who are attempting to steal his fuel source.

With its fabulous animation, this story is a tribute to the power of teamwork and friendship, exactly what you'd expect from the Toy Story universe.

And what better voice for Buzz than the one and only Captain America, Chris Evans. He's always been known as a great hero, with an unshakable sense of courage plus he can throw some hard hits when needed!

The animation builds incredible worlds full of adorably oddball characters, many of which are new. Buzz Lightyear and Zurg are the only two characters to appear from the Toy Story films.

The vibrant voice cast including Keke Palmer as Izzy Hawthorne, Peter Sohn as robot cat character SOX, Taika Waititi as Mo Morrison, Dale Soules as Darby Steel and James Brolin as Zurg.

The movie also pays tribute to scenes and plot points from classic science fiction films, including the original Star Wars trilogy, Alien, Star Trek, Lost in Space and even the original Thunderbirds TV series from the 60s.

Toy Story fans will have plenty of new reasons to cheer in Lightyear, an entertaining film that's Pixar at its comfort zone.

In a time when people's lives are constantly under attack, this story of perseverance and teamwork will make you feel like the world is worth fighting for.

Tinfoil Mask Ensemble

After reports that stores like Kmart, The Good Guys and Bunnings now have their cameras equipped with facial tracking software, some conspiracy theorists across Australia have added wearing face masks to their attire as part of their tin-foil-hat ensemble in hopes of eliminating big businesses and governments from harvesting data about them.

How do you feel about your information being collected without your consent?

Some have argued, if you're not doing anything wrong you shouldn’t have anything to hide. Whilst on the other side of the argument some are saying that shows like Big Brother are no longer just concepts contained to late night, reality TV.

It's fair to say that in the modern world, people are becoming aware that their personal information is not as personal as it once was and it may be about to get even worse with more companies likely to follow suit.
