Dry July is nearly upon us and it got us to talking around the office as to what zero alcohol beer actually tastes any good.

It turns out that there are actually quite a few, so we've narrowed them down to our top 5 so you can stay on track for the month of July even if your mates don't.

Great Northern Zero

a refreshing non-alcoholic beer that has a fruity scent with a crisp finish. It does a great job of mimicking the flavours of your regular drop.

Athletic Brewing Company

If you love a good beer, but also love being healthy, these guys have a few selections. Our choice is the "Run Wild" non-alcoholic IPA with a blend of five northwest hops and a specialty malt body. Low Calories and less than 0.5% Alc by volume.

Athletic has had a big year since launching into the AU market, they've become a B Corp Certified Company, named in TIME’s '100 Most Influential Companies of 2022' and Fast Company's 'Brands That Matter' in 2021, and as well as bringing their highly respected'Two For The Trails' program to Australia.

Heaps Normal Quiet XPA

It's a fully flavoured XPA without the headache the next day. Tropical and citrus aromas with that unmistakable beer finish. Unfiltered, with balanced bitterness and subtle malt sweetness.

Better Beer Zero Alc

A crisp, refreshing drop that uses a "Vacuum evaporation" method to keep it tasting like beer.

Big Drop Brewing Co’s

This company has a massive range of non-alcohol beers and says it's so good you won't miss it at all.

There's Pine Trail Pale Ale (which is our recommendation), Uptown Lager, Galatic Stout and Paradiso IPA and the new winter drop "Woodcutter Brown Ale" to name a few and the flavour is pretty spot on.

Grab the 16 sampler pack to experience all the flavours and work out what will get you through dry July.

If you are doing Dry July, good on you! We are right there with you being responsible and giving our bodies a rest and raising much-needed funds for people with cancer. Hopefully, this list has helped you to make a better-tasting choice when you've had enough of water and just want to sit and enjoy a beverage with your steak and chips for lunch.

Glastonbury returned this weekend with some huge acts taking to the stage.

The other big news across the weekend was the landmark decision by the Supreme Court to overturn the historic Roe Vs Wade ruling and as many in the US took to the streets to protest there were some famous faces at the music event in the UK that used the platform to show their disgust.

One of the least subtle protests came from megastar Olivia Rodrigo, who took to the stage joined by a special guest to say pretty much what we are all thinking.

Olivia announced that she would be joined by the iconic and at times controversial brit-pop sensation Lily Allen and the pair joined forces to perform one of Lilys biggest hits, the song simply titled "F You".

WATCH HERE: Warning This Video Contains a Few Naughty Words

The super catchy track was a massive hit here in Australia back in 2009, especially with the radio edit heard across the country featuring the swear word replaced by some hilarious sound effects.

The song features lyrics like "your point of view is medieval" and Olivia started with "I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who have shown us that at the end of the day they don't really care about freedom" she then went on to name the justices who voted to overturn the ruling.

Lily shared on her Instagram just how special the set was to her as her kids are massive fans of Olivias.

Let's hope Lily is right and this performance was enough to pull her out of retirement.

sassy turtle featureimage

Hang the brakes, this turtle just discovered warp speed and it’s the best thing on the internet right now!

The internet has fallen in love with a sassy little turtle who’s given new meaning to the phrase ‘work smarter, not harder’.

The viral video, uploaded by TikTok user @stephenseivers, has had more than 4 million views and shows a turtle making its way to water… but it’s all over in seconds, not hours like you’d expect.

The turtle whooshes down a ramp, gains enough speed to get airborne for a few seconds and then hurtles to the edge of the dock before dropping into the water with a satisfying 'plop'.

Turn up the volume and get set set to ruin your day in the best possible way, because you won’t be able to watch this just once.

Not his first rodeo?

Plenty of commenters thought this little turtle had done the ramp trick before too.

Paul McCartney has been joined by special guests Bruce Springsteen and Dave Grohl in an epic performance at Glastonbury that spanned the first Beatles demo to some of his latest recordings.

The singer-songwriter, who turned 80 a week ago, was the oldest-ever solo headliner at Worthy Farm in southwest England, where the festival celebrated its 50th anniversary two years later than planned due to the pandemic.

Opening with Can't Buy Me Love, McCartney entertained a capacity crowd on Saturday night with songs spanning more than half a century, from Beatles classics to Come On to Me from 2018 album Egypt Station.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl joined him for I Saw Her Standing There and Band on the Run, receiving a rapturous welcome from the audience.

Following his "friend from the west coast of America", McCartney introduced another surprise "from the east coast of America": Bruce Springsteen.

The two played Glory Days and I Wanna Be Your Man. McCartney, one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century with the late John Lennon, paid tribute to his former band mates in the near-three-hour show.

He played George Harrison's Something and performed a virtual duet with Lennon on I've Got a Feeling.

Grohl and Springsteen came back for the final encore of The End from Abbey Road.

"Thank you Dave, thank you Bruce, thank you Glasto," McCartney said before leaving the stage.

The festival concludes on Sunday with Diana Ross playing the Sunday afternoon legend's slot and Kendrick Lamar headlining on the Pyramid Stage.
