Kmart is selling a '6 Piece Wooden Vlogger Playset’, so now your toddlers can start their influencer careers early. The vlogger kit has caused a stir online with some shoppers finding the toy set hilarious and some even finding it sad.
The playset listed on the Kmart website for $13 has the description, "Little ones will love to pretend taking pictures, photos and making video with this wooden vlogger set!”
The set which is suitable for ages three years and over, comes with a canvas backpack, a mobile phone, a camera, a selfie stick, ring light and a tripod. Of course, the wooden toys don’t obviously work, but toddlers can pretend to be like their favourite vloggers or keen influencer parents.
Instagram page @kmart_bargains shared the toy set leaving shoppers with a mixed reaction to the toys. Some enjoyed the idea of it, tagging their friends and saying it would be great for their kids. Others didn’t agree, one even saying they weren’t impressed. They said:
"Let's make children even more narcissistic than the previous generation! Not impressed by this Kmart attempt."
Other comments laughed at the idea and even said it was ‘sad’.
"that vlogger thing is just so sad…”
"the wooden vlogger play set?! I can’t 😂
" 😂 the wooden blogger play set what the heck 💀"
Most of us would be used to traditional wooden toys from blocks to kitchen sets and train sets… and now the kids have something to play with that they've grown up seeing. Although some aren’t sure what to think of it, it’s definitely a sign of the times.

Here’s a calendar to make you laugh and brighten your day! Chicken Daddies is looking for models for their upcoming calendar, so if you know someone who'd be a perfect fit then here’s the chance to become a part of it.
Professional photographer Danielle Brock decided to start the project after she discovered the internet trend called the “Target Dress Challenge,” in January of 2021. Jumping on the trend, she asked if her partner would be willing to do a photoshoot with their chickens in which she says he didn’t even bat an eye.
"He didn't even bat an eye and agreed! We did the photoshoot and I shared it to social media, and people loved it!”
Due to its popularity, Danielle decided to do a call out for dad models to appear in a "2022 Farm Dress Edition" and then "Chicken Daddies” was born. From that, the “Daisy Dukes Edition” then gained momentum and went viral. The popularity of the calendar allowed Danielle to travel across the US and expand the idea, and turn it into a full-time job. The calendars became wildly successful selling over 11,000 across the world. She says about her opportunities from the success:
It was then featured on a local news station! Afterwards, I traveled all Summer in the United States to photograph notable chook dads from across the entire country including the famous bustling Times Square in New York City. I traveled enough miles to circle the entire Earth once in a few months! In the 2022 editions, featured is a TikTok celebrity, founder of New York Says Thank You Foundation, owner of ChickenButt Donuts, and another Dad who went viral for the Target Dress Challenge.
The US-based professional portrait photographer from Portland, Oregon says she is accepting applications worldwide although, with travel restrictions due to COVID, she is watching the status of restrictions and will jump on the chance to travel. Dads in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South America, United States are all encouraged to apply. Hundreds of applications have already been submitted. Danielle explains what she's looking for in a 'Chicken Dad':
"I'd really love to see Chicken Dads with a unique story... I recommend really making yourself stand out with some silly photos to show your personality or if you have a unique story. They must be 100% down to participate and be silly.”
About future calendars, Danielle says although next years themes are top secret they are well on their way:
"The themes next year are top secret and are already underway! I'd really love to capture more diversity and urge all Chicken Daddies with a sense of humour to apply!"
Applications can be made at www.chickendaddies.com and calendars can be purchased on www.chickendaddies.com or Etsy.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson proves he’s the best Dad ever in this fun game with his daughters
We’re used to seeing Dwayne Johnson getting his face smashed in action movies, but we know it’s all Hollywood fake and he can take it.
Which makes this video of his daughter Jazzy “smashing” his face with food all the more hilarious because we can see The Rock is clearly nervous about what’s to come.
In the video posted to his Instagram, Dwayne is sitting with his eyes closed as his daughter approaches him with a sheet of foil smothered in peanut butter.
“I trust you,” Dwayne begins to say in the video but then he laughs nervously and shakes his head.
He ends up looking like a swamp monster, but the best part of it is his daughter’s giggles, which of course he loves.
“You’d think after all this time, I’d learn my lesson of playing my little tornado’s favorite game, Daddy Close Your Eyes,” he writes in the caption.
But then he continues: "one day they’ll be grown & gone, and smashing the shit outta daddy’s face with peanut butter is the last thing they’ll want to do - so while they still love hanging out with daddy ~ bring on the peanut butter!! 😂❤️"
This is the not the first time he’s suffered from the cute antics of his daughters Jazzy and Tia. Previously he’s been punched in… well a very delicate area... while playing their trust game.
But of course he loves it, and has written: “I’ll pay the price every time to get belly laughs and little giggles like this.”
At least peanut butter is less painful, though he probably smelled it for a week afterwards.
He’s also posted a hilarious series of videos trying to prove to his daughter that he’s the character Maui from the movie Moana but she won’t believe it, even when he sings the song perfectly with the same voice.
“At this rate it’s even pure speculation that her daddy is also The Rock,” he writes.
