A new tv series is getting ready to burst onto our streaming services in March and it's based on one of the most explosive video games of the last 20 years.

The official trailer is here for "HALO" and it's going to be watched by loads of gamers and non-gamers alike on Paramount+ from March 24th.

Halo: Combat Evolved was the first in a franchise of video games that first launched on Microsoft's Xbox game console in November of 2001. The game was then later ported to PC and Mac in 2003.

Since then we've seen many new chapters of the Master Chiefs story with the latest being Halo: Infinite on the Xbox Series X and S consoles.

Known for having a brilliant science fiction single-player story mode and a fast-paced action multiplayer mode Halo has been top of the charts for critics and players on each release rarely having a misstep.

The new series shows the war between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant who are a military alliance of alien races and the main antagonists in the lore of the series.

Pablo Schreiber will play the hero Master Chief in the 9 episode season with Natascha McElhone as Dr Catherine Halsey who also has a prominent story in the game series.

Jen Taylor who is the voice of "Cortana" in the games reprises the role for the series and Windows users will recognise "Cortana" as their version of "Siri" the AI personal assistant for your device. Jen Taylor also provides the voice for that version of the AI.

Johnny Depp is releasing an NFT Art Collection called Never Fear Truth featuring paintings by the actor himself.

11,111 NFT's have been created by Depp based on portraits of family, friends and heroes and then uniquely animated.

NFT stands for non-fungable token and it's a new way of owning a piece of art in this case that is verifiable online.

Think of a certificate of authenticity but being able to confirm that online instantly.

Most people would know that Depp is a musician as well as an actor.

Painting is another passion of his that he is now sharing with the world through NFT's.

A portion of the profits will go to charities which is always nice to hear.

Registration to go into the draw to be able to purchase a Johnny Deep NFT is open for a limited time.

You can find out all the technical details on the neverfeartruth.com website.

emojis feature

The upcoming iOS 15.4 update for your Apple devices is bringing some cool new features, including being able to unlock your phone while wearing a mask. (Take that covid, how annoying is it to put in your passcode every time you need to pay for something on your phone these days!?)

But we’re most excited about the 37 new emojis that will launch with the full release.

The new emojis were previewed last year and now they’re finally approved and part of the beta release available to developers. The full release for all ioS users is expected to come in March or April this year according to Emojipedia. They also say these emojis are already available on many devices that are running Android 12L, though Samsung devices likely won't receive these emojis until later in the year.

Emojipedia has provided a first look at the new additions, which include a melting face, a hand making a heart, a troll, a playground slide, crutches, an x-ray and a mirror ball. There's also a ton of handshakes in different skin colours and combinations.

There's seven new faces to choose from, including a weird half salute.

The hands peeking through the eyes will surely be used a lot, while the face with tears welling up at the bottom of the eyes can be used to express “sadness, anger, embarrassment, admiration, and gratitude” so you’ll get some good use out out of this one too. And finally we use the angled mouth to show "skepticism, confusion, or frustration" properly instead of typing it as : /

The dotted line face is said to represent someone feeling invisible or hidden, but also “isolation, and depression”. Definitely a vibe in these covid times. And you can always use the buoy to throw them a lifeline and let them know you're there.

We love the hands making a heart and the relaxed vibe of the lotus flower as well as the Hamsa symbol (the eye in the hand) which Emojipedia describes as representing "luck, protection, guidance, feminine power, and faith, among other meanings" in various religions. Yes please, we'll take some of that.

The low battery symbol is definitely relatable, and we're liking the troll (we can see this being used in a few heated discussions) and the fun disco ball. There's also a pregnant man, included in the interests of gender inclusivity, though the internet has its own interpretation of what it could also mean:

Even with the updates, there's still quite a wish list for emojis - is there an emoji you'd love to see?

Jackass co-creator Johnny Knoxville is done with 'large stunts' after a bull-charge left him with broken bones and hemorrhaging in the brain.

During filming for the latest Jackass film, Johnny Knoxville was charged by an angry bull, which resulted in the star suffering a broken wrist, broken ribs and a severe concussion that led to a decline in his cognitive abilities.

Talking candidly about the incident on Howard Stern's radio show, Knoxville admitted that the horrific stunt was his worst hit yet.

"My cognitive abilities were in steep decline after that hit," he said.

When asked what his wife thought about the traumatic experience Knoxville responded, "No one in my family is happy with the stunt."

"The bull hit was the worst hit I’ve ever taken from a bull or maybe period. I remember taking some tests. The neurosurgeon said, 'Do you have trouble paying attention right now?' I said, 'Yeah, why?' He goes, 'Because you scored a 17'... That's out of 100."
