Golden Bakery has launched a delectable new limited edition Golden® Scone Loaf, so get out the jam and cream and get your toasters ready!

The new flavour comes after the success of their Cinnamon Donut Loaf last year which led to the development of the new Scone Loaf. The loaf is scone-inspired and has a slightly sweet flavour. The slices are thick and soft and are deliciously crunchy out the outside when toasted.

You can top it with jam and cream or anything you wish or even just eat it straight from the pack. The loaf is baked in Australia with 95% Aussie ingredients, includes no artificial colours or flavours and has a health star rating of 3.5.

Jam or cream first? Will they be as good as freshly baked scones? Probably not, but it's the next best thing!

Olympic hockey champion Sandy Pisani has died: "Sandy has fought tirelessly and in true competitive spirit for more than than two years until her very last breath."

Pisani was a member of the Hockeyroos team that won Australia's first Olympic gold medal in the sport at the 1988 Seoul Games.

She captained the Hockeyroos from 1985-86 and competed at the 1984 Los Angeles Games.

From 1981-88 she earned 105 Australian caps.

Pisani was head selector when the Hockeyroos won gold medals at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics and also coached in the sport.

Olympic cycling gold medallist and long-time Tour Down Under race director Mike Turtur was her partner for 32 years.

Turtur and daughter Elli have released a statement saying Pisani died on Tuesday morning at hospital in her home city of Adelaide.

She was diagnosed with cancer in December 2019, and the statement said Pisani's family was with her when she died.

"Sandy has fought tirelessly and in true competitive spirit for more than than two years until her very last breath," the statement said.

"She loved her family and friends with great passion and heart, fiercely loyal and feisty, compassionate and kind, we will cherish all of our special memories and times shared in our hearts forever."

Pisani is a life member of Hockey SA and was inducted into the SA sport hall of fame in 2015.

movierecord feature

We all have that favourite movie we can watch over and over again - not including forced watchings of Frozen or other kids movies of course. (Let it go, ok?)

But a man has set a new Guinness World Record for watching a movie nearly 300 times!

Ramiro Alanis from the US has claimed the record for “most cinema productions attended of the same film” for watching Spider-Man: No Way Home an impressive 292 times.

He watched it at the cinema over a three month period, sometimes seeing it five times a day. That’s no small commitment, adding up to 720 hours, or about 30 days of his time. Not to mention the cost of tickets.

Ramiro’s no stranger to attempting the record though. Back in 2019 he set a new record for watching Avengers: Endgame 191 times, almost doubling the previous effort of Australian Joanne Connor who had watched Bohemian Rhapsody 108 times.

But then another movie fan, Arnaud Klein, came along and broke Ramiro’s Endgame record by watching a movie only 13 more times than Ramiro. So this year Ramiro decided to reclaim his record with an even higher number of viewings in the hopes that no-one will break his record in a hurry.

And before you assume Ramiro must be a couch potato who is used to sitting and zoning out in front of the big screen, he’s actually a personal trainer in his job.

And there’s a lot of rules to follow too to claim the movie watching record.

Guinness World Records says that Ramiro had to watch the movie in full, including the credits (though everyone knows to stay for the post-credit scenes in Marvel movies) and couldn’t leave for a pee break, take a nap or do anything else while watching. So no sneaky looking at his emails or checking Facebook updates. He also had to submit all his ticket stubs as evidence and have a cinema attendant verify he'd sat through the entire movie without distractions.

With that effort, maybe he set a record for amount of popcorn eaten too?

Do you have a favourite movie you watch over and over? Or is it once and done, because the first viewing is the most magical?

"If you thought season 1 was wild, season two will be one trip you will never forget"

Fasten your seatbelt and prepare for takeoff - Season 2 of dark comedic thriller Flight Attendant is coming to Binge on April 21st.

And the trailer looks even more intense than the first season! More baggage, more turbulence, more complete chaos! Of course.

In season 1, Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory played flight attendant Cassandra Bowden who woke up in a Bangkok Hotel with a dead guy from her flight next to her – and no idea what happened thanks to a heavy night of drinking. Yes, she’s an alcoholic, and she’s reckless and selfish too, but is she a killer? Even Cassie herself wasn’t sure, and we watched her question everything as she tried to piece together what happened.

The series is based on the novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian and Season 2 also stars Michiel Huisman, Zosia Mamet, T.R. Knight, Rosie Perez and Griffin Matthews.

Season 2 trailer

But what does Season 2 have in store? The trailer drops a spoiler around season 1; you've been warned...

Cassie has stopped drinking and is busy building a solid, steady life for herself and is feeling pretty pleased and oh yeah, she’s now an asset for the CIA. Cassie drops this news to her friends in the trailer, don’t blame us!

All is good… until Cassie starts seeing double - which is the name of the first episode of Season 2 by the way - and it has nothing to do with drinking again.

Suddenly there’s a lot of weird things going on around her. Given how much Cassie was an unreliable narrator in Season 1, we’re very curious to know if these new characters are real or exist solely in Cassie’s head.

It’s another fast-paced tale and we can’t wait to see Cassie reunite with her favourite cabin crew, best friend and a love interest. Oh and her mum, played by Sharon Stone!

It's time to catch up on Season 1

No spoilers here - Season 1 was so fresh and fun, we demand you watch it. And with only 8 episodes at 40 minutes each, it’s totally bingeable before Season 2 drops. Get on it!
