The Rap God turned Food God has announced a new album restaurant and we're not sure if it's a joke or not.

Taking to his socials, Marshall Mathers dropped the news that he was opening a pasta restaurant with the most perfect name: Mom's Spaghetti.

Of course the new venture has been aptly named after a lyric from one of Eminem's most esteemed songs, Lose Yourself:

His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready

Specialising in meatballs, basghetti sandwiches and - of course - spaghetti, the 48-year-old rapper's concept eatery opens in downtown Detroit in late September.

Fans are unsure if the restaurant is legit, if it's actually an album tease or just a big ol' joke.

Now don't lose yourself, but we can confirm that the restaurant announcement is legit!

A press release from Eminem's team reasserts the news, 'Mom’s Spaghetti – the concept restaurant featuring menu items centered around the legendary lyric from Eminem’s iconic “Lose Yourself” – will be opening a brick-and-mortar location in downtown Detroit.'

Hard core fans would already be aware of the Mom's Spaghetti concept after a number of pasta pop-ups were launched in 2017.

Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg explained that "the previous pop-ups were really a test for us to determine whether there was enthusiasm for a regularly-occurring Mom’s Spaghetti spot that would be open all year long. We are really pleased to announce the arrival of the walk-up restaurant and adjacent upstairs store, called The Trailer, where fans can experience a uniquely-curated environment and obtain merch and other items from Eminem and his new pasta operation."

Bellissimo!

But keep an eye on Korean survival drama Squid Game, which Netflix says could become their biggest TV series ever given its massive popularity since its release only on the 17th of September. It's certainly going to be their top non-English language show according to Netflix.

Social media giants Instagram have been working on a version of the platform that is strictly for kids, but it seems like those plans might be on hold.

The Instagram Kids app is said to target "tweens" aged 10 to 12-year-olds who might have a mobile phone but are still too young to legally sign up for the Instagram app.

The app would be similar in principle to other kid-friendly social platforms like "Youtube Kids" in that it would have no advertisements or tracking and would allow parental control.

It would allow parents the ability to control how long they spend on the platform and who they interact with.

While it sounds like a great concept on paper it seems that the developers have decided to put it on hold for now.

Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri said in a recent tweet:

He says that it is just a "pause" and that he "still believes it's the right thing to do".

This essentially gives them more time to liaise with parent groups, experts, and regulators to find a common ground for the product which would need to go through massive amounts of testing to ensure a safe environment.

So of the features, they developed for Instagram Kids will make their way to the Instagram app, specifically the parental control features which will be for Teens old enough to have an account.

The company also introduced anti-bullying measures to protect younger users so there is a clear focus on attracting younger users to the platform who are opting for competitors like TikTok who have a "Family Pairing" option that allows you to customize your Teen's TikTok settings for a safer experience.

A creative shopper has shared a Kmart coffee table hack that has gained the attention of social media with its fresh look, using her green thumb to create a beautiful living coffee table.

Eveline Atkinson posted her coffee table hack to the 'Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia’ Facebook group, which currently has over 6K likes and 2.5K comments at the time of writing.

Atkinson writes on the post:

Saw this idea on Pinterest a little while ago and had to try it. The noir table was the perfect fit!!
Love, love, love it and super proud that I did it by myself! Can’t wait for them to grow and sprout
(Edit: The room is lined with full sized windows wall to wall.
-The room receives full sunlight from sunrise to sunset.
-They’re real succulents.
-Glass top was found off market place and was part of an IKEA coffee table. Was pure luck that it was the perfect size.
-The posts holding the glass are made from dowel that I cut and painted, then put rubber bumpers on top to stop the glass from sliding.)

The 26-year-old told Grant Broadcasters she recently moved out of home and when she was searching online for coffee tables, she found the inspiration on Pinterest. With her house already filled with plants, she decided that working on the project was a ‘no brainer'. She said to Grand Broadcasters, “I recently moved out of home and was looking online for coffee tables when I came across the idea on Pinterest, my house is filled with plants and greenery so it was a no brainer that I needed to make it happen.”

Using a $39 Noir Coffee Table from Kmart as a base, Atkinson then cut and painted dowels and nailed them to the table. The table dimensions according to the Kmart website are 37cm high and 70cm in diameter. She then created the garden on the table itself explaining, "Lined the base of the table then added stone pebbles and horticultural charcoal to help with water absorption/drainage then topped with succulent soil. Popped in the succulents and that was it! Super easy.”

Atkinson said she sourced the succulents from Facebook Marketplace as well as the glass top.

Atkinson then found an IKEA glass top on Facebook Marketplace which happened to be the perfect size and also mentioned she found the succulents off marketplace as well. The self-confessed plant lover said, "Massive plant lover, so much so all my plants have names 😂"

The Melbourne based integration aide also runs a side business as a newborn photographer at Evy Lynn Photography and says she’s happy people are loving her creation. She said about the popularity of her project, "I was a bit shocked that my little Kmart table received so much attention - it seems so silly but I’m happy people love it!"
