Hotcake Syrup Topping
Part 4 of this hack shows what you can do if you didn't bring a topping with you but want something other than plain soft serve.
Bring on the HotCake Syrups. Drizzle this golden sweetness over the top for some magical goodness.
@adrianwidjy Reply to @_s11045 thanks for the idea! Another winner! Keepβem coming @mcdonaldsau ##smashedsoftserve ##placesinsydney ##sydney ##australia ##eskrimgeprek

Fries?!?
So this one is probably going to be controversial for most but hear me out. This is the equivalent of Canadian Pancakes (Pancakes with Bacon and Maple Syrup).
The salt from the fries pairs very well with the sweetness of the soft serve. But for some, this may have crossed a line
@adrianwidjy Seriously in love with this! I shared this with friends by the way! @mcdonaldsau ##eskrimgeprek ##placesinsydney ##sydney ##australia ##smashedsoftserve

Formula 1 is getting a massive bump in the trends at the moment largely thanks to a Netflix documentary series called "Formula 1: Drive to Survive".
In the series, you meet the drivers, teams, and families of the sport with exclusive behind the scenes footage.
Don't worry, if you are not a racing fan, this series is been compared to the Michael Jordan documentary "The Last Dance" that was enjoyed by lots of viewers who had never even seen or had an interest in basketball.
Australian Driver Daniel Ricciardo is a massive part of the show and ahead of his trip to the Mexican Grand Prix stopped to talk to Ellen DeGeneres about what it is like being a top driver and part of "Formula 1: Drive to Survive".
Like most people, she asked a simple question
"I drive myself to work every day and I donβt have to do this. I mean Iβll do sit ups or whatever, but I donβt do what yaβll are doing. Why do you have to be so fit?"
Which our Daniel answered with the grace and poise that is winning him the attention of the world on his press tour
"The races are 90 minutes long β¦ thereβs whatβs called G-forces and because we corner so fast, thereβs like four or five Gs on our body, and that is a force which is trying to basically pull us out of the car"
You can watch the segment here on Ellens Twitter.
I didnβt know how much I loved Formula One until I started watching #DrivetoSurvive, now I canβt get enough of it or of @DanielRicciardo. pic.twitter.com/cVCa1iERKS

Now don't go getting any crazy diet tips from Formula 1 even if they can lose 8 to 10 pounds in a single race.
Season 3 of "Formula 1: Drive to Survive" follows the 2020 World Championship and covers Daniel Ricciardo's falling out with Renault and the effects of Covid 19 on the sport.
It's available now on Netflix

Forget Mutant Ninja Turtles, it's time for Giant Mutant Spuds!
Colin and Donna Craig-Brown were weeding their garden in New Zealand when Colin's hoe struck something huge just beneath the soil's surface.
As the couple knelt down and began digging around the object, Colin wondered if it was some kind of strange fungal growth.
After Colin pried it out with his garden fork, he scratched away a bit of the skin and tasted it.
A potato.
"We couldn't believe it," Donna said. "It was just huge."
And not exactly pretty. Donna describes its appearance as more of an ugly, mutant look.
But it's quite possibly the largest potato on record. When the couple lugged it into their garage and put it on their old set of scales, it weighed in at a remarkable 7.9 kilograms.
That's equal to a couple of sacks of regular potatoes, or one small dog.
In the weeks since their unusual find on August 30, the couple's potato has become something of a celebrity around their small farm near Hamilton.
They've named the potato Doug, after the way it was unearthed, and Colin even built a small cart to tow Doug around.
"We put a hat on him. We put him on Facebook, taking him for a walk, giving him some sunshine," Doug said. "It's all a bit of fun. It's amazing what entertains people."
A more official weigh-in at a local farming store put Doug at 7.8kg.
The current Guinness World Records entry for the heaviest potato is a 2011 monster from Britain that weighed in at just under 5kg.
The couple say they've applied to Guinness to have Doug recognised and are waiting to hear back.
Guinness didn't immediately reply to a request for an update on the application.

A video of the President Of The United States has gone viral after it appears he was dozing off in the opening speeches at the COP26 climate summit.
Let's face it, we've all been guilty of getting some accidental shuteye during a work meeting, uni class, church service or family affair.
Try as you might to keep your eyes open and attention focussed, sometimes you just physically can't stay awake.
Unfortunately, Joe Biden doesn't have the luxury of his falling asleep in public places going unnoticed - particularly when it's at a highly esteemed event, such as the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference.
Also known as COP26, the conference is currently being held in Scotland, and is an annual event that sees more than 190 world leaders meet to discuss climate change solutions.
In a video published by the Washington Post, Biden can be seen slowly closing his eyes for a few seconds at a time during the summit's opening formalities.

While some agreed that it does look like the US President was falling into slumber, many have rushed to defend him with one user betting he was "just closing his eyese so he can listen better withour distraction."
I have extensive knowledge re: watching old men fall asleep during church. This is ainβt that. Iβd bet everything he was just closing his eyes so he can listen better w/out distraction.

"He closed his eyes for a second. This guy, on the other hand (referring to Boris Johnson), is sound asleep. And, by the looks of it, massively hungover," said another user.

"Gee, 78 years, spending hours everyday in boring meetings. Probably not much sleep, a time difference, etc.... How dare someone doze off?" another user commented sarcastically. "I'm sure everyone has fallen asleep at least once during a class or large meeting."

Eventually, the journalist who originally posted the video admitted he's done the same. "We've all been there," said Zach Purser Brown. "I'm not sure I've ever been to a summit and not dozed off."
