The death certificate of the Hollywood icon has been leaked revealing the tragic cause for her passing.

According to her death certificate, Betty White died from a stroke she had six days before her death on New Year's Eve at age 99.

The beloved Golden Girls and Mary Tyler Moore Show actor died at her home in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles as the result of a cerebrovascular accident, the medical term for a stroke, on Christmas Day, according to the LA County death certificate obtained on Monday by The Associated Press.

The cause was provided by White's doctor, as is typical in such cases.

While it's not clear if Betty showed any mental or behaviour signs of suffering in the days between the stroke and her passing, sources close to the family said she was coherent and well.

She was cremated and her remains were given to Glenn Kaplan, the man in charge of White's advanced health care.

Jeff Witjas, White's longtime agent and friend, who first confirmed her death to the AP, said she had been staying close to her Los Angeles home during the pandemic.

The document lists White's legal name of Betty Marion Ludden. She took the last name of her husband Allen Ludden, to whom she was married from 1963 until his death in 1981.

White, whose comic chops and up-for-anything charm made her a television mainstay for more than 60 years, died less than three weeks before her 100th birthday.

President Joe Biden, Mel Brooks, and many other celebrities and prominent leaders paid tribute to her after her death.

20221101 archive 81 Header

Archive 81 is a new supernatural thriller that looks like the Ring and Paranormal Activity had a baby.

Mamoudou Athie plays Dan Turner, a video archivist that is tasked to restore videotape footage damaged in a fire.

The collection can not be moved due to the risk of damage so he must work from a remote location.

Restoring the footage would help the victims' families have some peace.

The footage reveals a young woman from 1994 that is filming a documentary on a building.

And that's when things start getting weird. Watch the trailer right now!

Athie is known for Black Box, The Circle, and Unicorn Store but is also slated to be in the new Jurassic World Dominion as well.

Interestingly, Archive 81 was adapted from the first season of a podcast of the same name.

Warning though. Don't listen to the podcast first as it will spoil the tv series. You have been warned.

Archive 81 launches on Netflix on January 14th and will consist of 8 episodes. Happy Bingeing!

The latest National Lamb ad has arrived and it's again a cause for celebration even if it does cut a little too close to the bone.

In the video titled The Lost Country of the Pacific, Australia has been in isolation so long it's forgotten the rest of the world, and the rest of the world has forgotten Australia.

Can a couple of curious explorers reunite Australia with the rest of the world? Anything’s possible with the help of Lamb.

There are lots of cheesy one-liners throughout the campaign some of them don't quite land but one absolute pearler came from one of the "Grey Nomads" in a scene who state during the influx of tourists arriving "Backpackers! Thank Goodness we don’t have to pick our own fruit anymore”.

In another moment it cuts to space where it seems that Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are hanging out and ready to come down for some cutlets.

Of course, it just wouldn't be a Lamb ad without Sam Kekovich who makes an appearance to declare that the "national lamb rollout" is in effect.

Look out for the final scene which is a cheeky little dig at Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan's strict border policy.

VNG supports drive-thru COVID-19 testing on the Eastern Shore

Aussie influencers are spilling the tea on how to potentially get your PCR test results back 12-24 hours sooner than you normally would.

Have you recently lined up for hours to get a PCR test, returned home to isolate, and then anxiously awaited that little all-revealing SMS, only to wait five days and still not receive anything?

You're not alone.

With the Omicron variant spreading like wildfire across the nation, thousands of Aussies are currently stuck at home, (not so) patiently waiting for their COVID test results.

Turns out, you could actually know your PCR test result well before you even receive it via text message.

Influencers and other randoms on the internet are claiming that they've accessed their COVID-19 test report on myGov, Australia's online government platform.

Here's the real kicker, many people have allegedly seen their results on myGov between 12 and 24 hours before they got an official text.

Jeff van de Zandt, Victorian funnyman and TikToker, was one of many to loop his Instagram followers in on the hack.

"If you're waiting on your results, go to the myGov website and go to your my Health Record."

"You might actually find your results there 12-24 hours before they actually send you a text," he said.

"I haven't received my text yet but I've seen my report."

If you're thinking of getting a COVID test but aren't sure if you should opt for PCR or RAT, Australia's Health Direct have some suggestions:

You should get a PCR test if:

  • you have symptoms of COVID-19
  • you tested positive on a RAT and you need a PCR test to confirm your result
  • you are a close contact and don't have symptoms, but can't access a RAT

You should use a RAT if:

  • you’ve been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 (not a close contact) and don’t have symptoms
  • you want to check if you have COVID-19 before attending a large event or visiting vulnerable people
  • if required as part of a screening program by your school or your employer.
