Over the weekend, the Foo Fighters held an emotional tribute gig to their late drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Over the coarse of the gig, they had multiple drummers perform, including the likes of Sir Paul McCartney but none were more fitting than Taylor's son Shane who performed a tear-jerking rendition of 'My Hero' along side all of the band members.

The bands lead singer and frontman Dave Grohl introduced the 16 year-old, “We have one more drummer that’s going to come up and play with us tonight. Let me tell you, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone hit the drums as hard as this person,”.

“But beyond that, he’s a member of our family… I think it makes sense that he’s going to come up and play with us tonight,”.

The young boy took the stage and sat where his father had sat many times before and absolutely nailed the song!

A photo of Shane and his dad Taylor hung on the big screen above the band as the song kicked off, almost as if he was watching over his son as he drummed his heart out. Grohl can be seen multiple times looking back at Shane and checking on him, as the proud uncle he is.

The performance was genuinely spine tingling and we know that Taylor would have been watching over his son and have been so proud.

Amazon says its pricey Lord of the Rings prequel series was watched by more than 25 million viewers around the world on its first day, a record debut for a Prime Video series.

The company released the first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which was filmed in New Zealand, on its streaming service in more than 240 countries and territories on Friday.

Amazon did not say whether the viewers it counted had watched all or part of the first and second episodes.

Future Rings of Power instalments will be launched weekly until the October 14 season finale.

The series takes place in JRR Tolkien's fictional Middle-earth at a time known as the Second Age, a period 4000 years before the events in the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit novels and films.

Amazon plans to let the full story unfold in 50 hours over five seasons.

The online retailer spent more than $US465 million ($A683 million) producing the show's first season, making it among the most expensive TV series ever produced and the most ambitious since Amazon jumped into original programming in 2013.

The company has received acclaim for shows such as Transparent and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, but viewership for those series has not been disclosed.

In years gone by, the internet has argued over whether a dress was blue and black or white and gold. But now, this Gatorade debate is all the rage.

The US University of Tennessee Volunteers football team posted a TikTok (which you can view above) that seems to have kicked off the huge debate with some of the players arguing over the colour of the bottle that they are holding.

The video has more than 460,000 views and almost 50,000 likes.

What do you think the colour is?

The worlds first 8K footage of the Titanic have been released after a successful 2022 Titanic Expedition which has captured never before seen details of the famous sunken ship.

The goal of The Titanic Expedition is to gather as much information of the wreck as possible, which is no mean feat as it sits 3,800 meters beneath the sea 400 nautical miles off the coast of Canada.

Stockton Rush, President of OceanGate Expeditions says, “Capturing this 8K footage will allow us to zoom in and still have 4K quality which is key for large screen and immersive video projects. Even more remarkable are the phenomenal colours in this footage,”.

The highly detailed footage which has been released on the OceanGate Expeditions YouTube Channel will be used by scientists to study the decaying wreck more accurately.

“We are seeing new details in this footage,” Rory Golden, OceanGate Expeditions Titanic expert and veteran Titanic diver said.

“For example, I had never seen the name of the anchor maker, Noah Hingley & Sons Ltd., on the port-side anchor. I’ve been studying the wreck for decades and have completed multiple dives, and I can’t recall seeing any other image showing this level of detail. It is exciting that, after so many years, we may have discovered a new detail that wasn’t as obvious with previous generations of camera technologies.”

This footage shows the bow, port-side anchor, hull number one, one of the huge anchor chains, cargo hold number one, solid bronze capstans as well as evidence of decay where the rail has disintegrated and fell away.

The previous years footage will be compared to the new 2022 footage and OceanGate Expeditions are planning to capture this year on year. OceanGate Expeditions is already planning their 2023 Titanic Expedition that is scheduled to begin in May 2023.
