James Michael Tyler, the actor known widely for his recurring role as Gunther on the hit US sitcom Friends, has died aged 59.

Tyler died on Sunday at home in Los Angeles from prostate cancer, his manager Toni Benson says.

Tyler was first diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2018.

"The world knew him as Gunther (the seventh 'Friend'), from the hit series Friends, but Michael's loved ones knew him as an actor, musician, cancer-awareness advocate, and loving husband," Benson wrote in a tribute.

Tyler, who also appeared briefly in 1990s series such as Just Shoot Me! and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, was cast as a background character in the second episodes of Friends in 1994.

During the show's 10-year-run, he became the most frequently recurring guest star on the series playing Gunther, the Central Perk barista with an unrequited affection for Rachel (Jennifer Aniston).

Tyler was initially cast while working as a barista at the Bourgeois Pig coffee shop in Los Angeles.

He didn't have a line of dialogue on Friends until he had made 33 appearances on the show. During its 236 episodes, Tyler appeared in 150 of them.

Warner Bros Television, which produced the hit series, mourned the death of Tyler, "a beloved actor and integral part of our Friends family".

Once Friends concluded in 2004, Tyler made appearances on Scrubs, Modern Music and he played himself on an episode of Matt LeBlanc's Episodes in 2012

After being diagnosed with cancer, Tyler starred in two short films while undergoing treatment and gave a spoken-word performance of the Stephan Kalinich poem If You Knew to help raise awareness for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Tyler is survived by his wife, Jennifer Carno.

20211025 bunnings hack header

If you have trouble finding space under your kitchen sink, then this TikToker may just have the solution for you.

Having a clean home is not easy. Especially when you have kids or even worse, teenagers.

So having a fully stocked cupboard with cleaning goods is what most of us have under the kitchen sink.

But this solution often gets a bit overcrowded with dishwashing tablets or detergent, glass cleaners, antibacterial solutions, floor cleaners, and everything else including the kitchen sink.

User @organisedhouseboss had this very issue with her cleaning products not fitting underneath her sink.

This is where she found the perfect solution at Bunnings and it only costs $13.95.

It's a Spice Rack and it attaches to the inside door so you can store your bottles in an easy-to-reach area.

Of course, you should measure twice before mounting this as you could have a shelf or some pipes that get in the way.

Do you have any space-saving tips or storage hacks that you use at home? Let us know on Facebook!

This creepy footage will send chills down the spine of even the least superstitious person.

It's been said that canines have an unusual sixth sense, and are able to detect energy and presences that are invisible to humans.

TikTok user, Shannyfantg, may have just proven that theory!

Posting a clip of security vision of her dogs left at home alone, the two dogs can be seen in separate crates barking madly at an alleged unseen invader.

The dogs then quieten down and freeze before the collar on the black dog mystically comes off, startling the pooch.

@shannyfantg

sorry for the obnoxious barking at the beginning. watch my black dog. ghost takes her collar off in her crate. ##fyp ##ghost ##dog ##scary ##wtf

This isn't the first time @shannyfantg has captured paranormal activity in her home, who is convinced her house is haunted.

In the past she's posted videos of falling objects and moving doors.

ghost is getting cray. me and my dog were in the kitchen when it happened. ##fyp ##ghost ##openinggate ##why ##creepy

Like us, fellow viewers are on edge about the whole situation.

"This is literally 100% proof energy and spirits exist," Lizandro commented.

"The silence and then the fact you hear the collar click open. nope," says Katie Ashton.

"How can some of y'all literally see the collar UNCLIP ITSELF and say it's ridiculous to believe in ghosts as adults, like the proof is THERE," added Loading.

"Friend, you better anoint that house! That wasn't a ghost, it was a demon," commented Heaven Baca.

Meanwhile emjaythom1 has read my mind, feeling more empathy for the dogs than anything else. "OMG! Poor babise! They are scared... awwww, I wanna hug them!". Ditto!

What do you think? Ghosts or not?

A prop firearm discharged by veteran actor Alec Baldwin, who is starring and producing a western movie, has killed his director of photography and injured the director at the movie set outside Santa Fe, the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office says.

Sheriff's officials say Halyna Hutchins, director of photography for the movie Rust, and director Joel Souza were shot on Thursday.

Hutchins, 42, was flown to University of New Mexico Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by medical personnel.

Souza, 48, was taken by ambulance to Christus St Vincent Regional Medical Center, where he is undergoing treatment for his injuries.

Production has been halted on the film.

A spokesperson for Baldwin said there was an accident on the set involving the misfire of a prop gun with blanks.

The Santa Fe New Mexican reported the 68-year-old Baldwin was seen Thursday outside the sheriff's office in tears, but attempts to get comment from him were unsuccessful.

The International Cinematographers Guild confirmed that the woman fatally shot was Hutchins, a cinematographer.

"The details are unclear at this moment, but we are working to learn more, and we support a full investigation into this tragic event," guild president John Lindley and executive director Rebecca Rhine said in a statement.

Deputies responded about 2pm to the movie set at the Bonanza Creek Ranch after 911 calls came in of a person being shot on set, sheriff's spokesman Juan Rios said.

He said detectives were investigating how and what type of projectile was discharged.

"This investigation remains open and active," Rios said in a statement. "No charges have been filed in regard to this incident. Witnesses continue to be interviewed by detectives."

Filming for Rust was set to continue into early November, according to a news release from the New Mexico Film Office.

The movie is about a 13-year-old boy who is left to fend for himself and his younger brother following the death of their parents in 1880s Kansas, according to the Internet Movie Database website.

The teen goes on the run with his long-estranged grandfather (played by Baldwin) after the boy is sentenced to hang for the accidental killing of a local rancher.

In 1993, Brandon Lee, 28, son of the late martial-arts star Bruce Lee, died after being hit by a .44-caliber slug while filming a death scene for the movie The Crow.

The gun was supposed to have fired a blank, but an autopsy turned up a bullet lodged near his spine.
