The NSW state government has reintroduced some Covid restrictions to curb the spread of the Omicron variant.

Premier Dominic Perrottet said "An indoor mask mandate, QR code check-ins and density limits are small sacrifices for residents and businesses to get on top of the current wave."

He said, "I know there are many challenges for business and what I would say to businesses across our state is we've been with you over the last two years."

The alternative as case numbers increase is to close down and we're not doing that." the Premier said.
