There were 10 new cases of covid19 in the Illawarra Shoalhaven Health District for the 24 hours up till eight o'clock last night.
Five of those are in the Wollongong LGA, three in the Shellharbour LGA, one in the Shoalhaven LGA and one in the Kiama LGA.
In the Hunter New England region there are 12 new cases.
Of the 12 new cases:
* 5 are from Newcastle LGA
* 4 are from Mid Coast LGA
* 2 are from Maitland LGA
* 1 is from Lake Macquarie LGA
No new cases in the southern NSW Health District.
In the Wingecarribee up until eight 'clock December 10, there was one new case.
NSW Healh is reporting there are eight active cases in the shire.
And across the state case numbers have dropped, after the state recorded its biggest spike in two-months.
485 people have been diagnosed and two have died.
156 patients are being treated in hospital - 23 of those in intensive care.
Victoria has recorded two covid-deaths, and another one-thousand-and-69 more cases.
