NSW has recorded 667 locally acquired COVID-19 cases up until 8.00 pm last night.
It is the fewest number of Coronavirus cases reported by NSW Health in the state for six weeks.
There were ten deaths reported.
Illawarra Cases
There are 49 new cases reported in the Illawarra Shoalhaven, bringing the total cases in the LHD to 1,664 since the 16th of June.
31 cases are from the Wollongong LGA - 4 are linked to known cases.
13 cases are from the Shellharbour LGA - 9 are linked to known cases.
5 cases are from the Shoalhaven LGA - 2 are linked to known cases.
Hunter Cases
There were 82 new cases across the Hunter New England LHD to 8.00 pm last night.
This brings the total number of cases in the District to 1,135 since the 5th of August 2021.
57 cases are linked to known cases, and 25 are under investigation.
Central Coast Cases
There are 43 new cases reported in the Central Coast to 8.00 pm last night, bringing the total cases in the LHD to 822.
23 are linked to known cases, and 20 cases are under investigation.
Southern NSW cases
Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has been notified of 27 new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8.00 pm last night.
This brings the total cases in SNSWLHD to 250 since the start of the current outbreak in June.
Western NSW
Across the Western NSW Local Health District, there were 34 new cases of COVID-19 reported to 8.00 pm last night.
This brings the total cases in the LHD during this recent outbreak to 1,383.
25 are linked to known cases, and 9 are under investigation.
Northern NSW Cases
6 new cases have been reported in NNSWLHD to 8.00 pm last night.
Four of these cases were announced yesterday.
Murrumbidgee LHD
There are NO new cases reported in the Murrumbidgee LHD.
Far West
There were 4 cases in Far West LHD to 8.00 pm last night:
All 4 are household contacts.
The total cases in Far West LHD up to 8.00 pm last night is 272
Mid-North Coast NSW Cases
2 cases have been reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 8.00 pm last night:
One is linked to a known case, and the source of infection of the other case is under investigation.
There have been 27 cases reported in the MNCLHD since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.
Southern Highlands cases
There have been 2 new cases reported in Wingecarribee Shire.
The total number of cases in the LGA is 58 since June.
