NSW Health has recorded 262 locally acquired Covid-19 cases as of eight pm on Saturday the 7th of August.

That follows yesterday's milestone 319 cases.

There are six new overseas acquired Covid-19 cases.

NSW Health reports 362 people are hospitalised with Coronavirus, 58 of those require intensive care,

24 people are being ventilated.

NSW has recorded another death, a woman in her 80's, who wasn't vaccinated.

The State Government has imposed lockdown restrictions on another 12 Local Government Area's in the Penrith region.
