Prince William and his wife Kate have met Australian soldiers as the royal couple visited the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards for their St David's Day parade.
Kate attended the procession with her husband the Prince of Wales for the first time since he took over from the King as the regiment's colonel.
They sat for an official photo with the Prince of Wales' company before they met families from the regiment as well as members of the 5th Royal Australian regiment who are in the UK helping to train the Ukrainian army.
The couple then took part in the annual tradition of presenting handmade leeks to officers and soldiers to wear on their chests.
Officers and soldiers then distributed them among the ranks.
"William presented me with a leek and just asked me how the trip is going for me," Major Gregory Sergeant, from the 5th Royal Australian regiment, said.
"It was humbling, I have never met a royal before. Our unit's birthday is on St David's Day so naturally we reached out to the Welsh Guards and they invited us to the parade today. It was a true honour."

Indian spin king Ravi Jadeja has promised to give Australia's Matt Kuhnemann a masterclass following the end of the Border-Gavaskar series.
But judging by Kuhnemann's breakout performance in Indore, he might be able to teach his fellow left-armer something, too.
The 26-year-old was the unlikely hero of Australia's stunning start to the third Test on Wednesday, taking career best first-class figures of 5-16.
Kuhnemann, who was playing in the Sheffield Shield for Queensland in front of barely a 100 spectators less than three weeks ago, ran through India's star batting line-up in just his second Test.
He is a self-confessed "massive fan" of Jadeja and spoke with the magnetic allrounder after debuting in Delhi last week.
"The way he (Jadeja) uses his crease and probably the biggest thing I picked up in Delhi is that he brings his length back a little bit when the ball gets a little bit older," Kuhnemann said on Wednesday.
"That's probably the main thing I took out of the second Test ... don't want to get too full, especially on a wicket that stays low.
"I said, 'have you got any tips for me after the last Test?' He said 'yes - at the end of the series'.
He picked up two wickets, one of the scalps being India legend Virat Kohli, in Delhi last week, but Kuhnemann did have a challenging debut.
Australia were blown away in a dramatic collapse in their second innings to lose in difficult fashion and India's batters tried to go after Kuhnemann's bowling.
Yet despite the tourists falling down 0-2 in the series, Kuhnemann has just tried to soaked up the experience of being in India.
"It's been a whirlwind," Kuhnemann said after joining Australia's squad after the first Test in Nagpur.
"Like every night I'm sort of just pinching myself.
"Even today just sitting in the change room, just looking around speaking to 'Starcy' (Mitchell Starc) and Nathan Lyon, and thinking, this is unreal, just be able to do this.
"To even go out there and play with Steve Smith and all these great players and contribute to the team, it's really awesome."
Kuhnemann's outstanding performance helped set the tone for Australia's most dominant day of the series.
Australia go into day two at 4-156, a lead of 47 over the shell-shocked Indians.
"Really special to take wickets out there with the team," Kuhnemann said.
"I think it is a really good day for our team in general with the bowlers going really well and the batters stepping up as well and doing a good job for us.
"Yeah it's really cool, but there's a long way to go in this game. Thursday is going to be a massive day."

The man suspected of murdering Queensland woman Toyah Cordingley has spent his first night behind bars in Australia before his expected extradition to face charges.
Rajwinder Singh, 38, arrived in Melbourne from Delhi on Wednesday, where a magistrate ordered his return to the state he allegedly fled shortly after Ms Cordingley's body was found on a beach near Cairns in October 2018.
Queensland police are preparing to charge Mr Singh when his flight arrives on Thursday or Friday.
They believe he hid out in Punjab state after fleeing Australia, leaving behind his wife and three children at their Innisfail home.
Detective Acting Superintendent Kevin Goan said Ms Cordingley's family had been told Mr Singh would soon return to Queensland.
"They're clearly overwhelmed, but delighted that again, the judicial process will commence on Australian soil in the very near future," he told reporters outside the Melbourne court on Wednesday.
Magistrate Martin Grinberg ordered Mr Singh to be extradited to Queensland after hearing police had DNA and telephone evidence allegedly linking him to the case.
Police are arranging for Mr Singh to be flown to Queensland via private air charter on Thursday or Friday.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at a court in Cairns later this week.

Australia have responded from two embarrassing defeats to enjoy a rare day of dominance in India and take control of the third Test on a rank turner of a pitch in Indore.
The tourists went to stumps on day one at 4-156, a lead of 47, after Australia's spinners ripped through India during a chaotic opening session at Holkar Stadium.
But superstar allrounder Ravi Jadeja (4-63) once again did his best to turn the game in India's favour, claiming all four Australian wickets, including the prized scalp of acting captain Steve Smith (26) about 20 minutes before stumps.
Australia lost their top-four - Travis Head, Usman Khawaja (60), Marnus Labuschange (31) and Smith - but in-form No.5 Peter Handscomb (seven no) and allrounder Cameron Green (six no) remain unbeaten.
India have already burned all three of their reviews as Jadeja attempted to continue his extraordinary stranglehold over Australia.
Despite their position of dominance, Australia don't need reminding of how quickly India can claw their way back into a match after the hosts' remarkable comeback during the second Test in Delhi.
Left-armer Matt Kuhnemann, playing in his second Test, starred with 5-16 as India crumbled for 109 - their fourth lowest total at home against Australia and their shortest innings in terms of balls since 2008.
"Really special to take wickets out there with the team," Kuhnemann said after his best haul in first-class cricket.
"It is a really good day for our team in general with the bowlers going really well and the batters stepping up as well and doing a good job for us.
"It's really cool, but there's a long way to go in this game."
Australia's trio of spinners - Kuhnemann, Nathan Lyon and Todd Murphy - took nine wickets before India's innings ended 30 minutes into the second session when Mohammed Siraj was run out.
After captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat, India stumbled to lunch at 7-84 as Kuhnemann and Lyon (3-35) stunned the hosts.
India lost 5-18 in a collapse similar to the trouble Australia found themselves in during the first two Tests.
The hosts briefly steadied through Virat Kohli (22) but young spin sensation Todd Murphy (1-23) claimed the Indian superstar's wicket for the third time this series.
Bowling allrounders Axar Patel (12 no) and Ravichandran Ashwin (three) rescued India out of immense trouble during the second Test but there was no repeat of their heroics.
It was drama in Indore from the start, with Sharma nicking Mitchell Starc to wicketkeeper Alex Carey off the first ball of the match.
However, umpire Nitin Menon gave Sharma not out and Australia failed to review the decision.
Starc trapped Sharma in front on the fourth ball of his first over with replays revealing the India opener would have been out had Australia used DRS.
But Sharma only scored 14 as he was stumped by Carey while trying to smash a Kuhnemann delivery.
The most extraordinary wicket of the day was Lyon's first, getting a ball to turn and keep low to smash into Cheteshwar Pujara's stumps.
Starc and Green opened the bowling after returning for their first match since suffering respective finger injuries during the Boxing Day Test win against South Africa.
Starc replaced Pat Cummins as Australia's frontline quick after the captain made the decision to return to Sydney to be with his seriously-ill mother.
Steve Smith is filling in as skipper for the third time since Cummins became Australia's red-ball leader in November 2021.
Whoever wins in Indore will secure their spot in the World Test Championship final at The Oval in June.
