Here's a conversation starter for you at work today, this guy has had his favourite pair of Nike trainers tattooed to his feet.

Dean Gunther is the tattoo artist who had to design the artwork for the bloke to make it look like he was wearing shoes, even though he is barefoot.

He thinks he'll never have to buy shoes again, but let's let that reality sink in next time he goes for a walk through someone's backyard that owns dogs or a kid's play area after they've just played with the LEGO.

He started by finding the shoes that his client liked the most in a 3D image, then replicated that design on the guy's tootsies before applying the tattoo ink.

@dean.gunther who needs shoes if you can permanently tattoo them to your feet.#shoestattoo#art#tattoo#nike@nike ♬ ALMOST HOME - Mad Adix, Marc Steinmeier

Some of the comments on TikTok include:

"Just Don't" from one user, or "Fun idea but awfully executed. Definitely done by somebody who bought a machine on eBay" from another.

Some users loved it though with one saying "what the heck, this is so bloody ridiculous that I love it".

What do you think? If you had to get your favourite footwear tattooed on your hooves, what would it be?

This isn't the first time the Tattoo artist has gone viral. He recently had a video blow up after he saved another guy money on a gym membership by getting abs tattooed on his body.

@dean.gunther How to get a 6 pack in 2 days! you tattoo it!my bro was tired of spending hours in the gym, so I gave him a 6 pack tattoo, ready for summer. enjoy#6packtattoo #cosmetictattoos#tattoos#viral#fyp#6pack#6packabs ♬ Low Down - venbee & Dan Fable
