They "don't need no education" (or an introduction) but one of the most iconic rock bands of all time has moved to the "dark side" and in this case, it's TikTok.

Pink Floyd joined the social media video-sharing app this week and in only a few days and 3 videos managed to gather around 59,000 followers, 92,000 likes and millions of views.
One of the posts was captioned with "Pink Floyd has arrived" and it looks like they are well on their way to owning yet another medium.
The arrival coincides with the popular album 'The Dark Side of the Moon" celebrating 50 years since its release.
"The Dark Side of the Moon" was the 8th studio album by the English superstars and was released on the 1st of March 1973. The album dealt with the mental health issues suffered by former member Syd Barrett and the pressures faced by the band since their rise to fame.
The album that is frequently featured highly in many professional charts of "Greatest Albums of All Time" includes tracks like "The Great Gig in the Sky, Breathe, Time, and the iconic "Money".
Most recently (in April) the surviving members David Gilmour, Nick Mason and long time Pink Floyd bass player Guy Pratt teamed up with Ukrainian singer Andriy Khlyvnyuk of Boombox to release “Hey Hey Rise Up”.
This is the first new original music that they have recorded together as a band since 1994’s The Division Bell.
The song was a dedication to the people of Ukraine and proceeds were donated to the Ukraine Humanitarian Relief Fund.
