TV franchise NCIS is going international, with the latest spin-off of the series to be set in Sydney.
NCIS: Sydney is the first series in the franchise set outside of America and will show on Network 10 and its streaming platform Paramount+ in 2023. It will also stream to a global audience.
The stunning harbour will be the perfect backdrop for the naval crime investigation drama, which will focus on Australian stories and have an Aussie cast.

There’s no word on casting decisions yet, but Aussie Shane Brennan, who produced NCIS: Los Angeles, is the showrunner.
Wonder if they'll take inspiration from that late 90s police show Water Rats, also set around Sydney Harbour.

NCIS is one of the world’s most successful TV dramas, ranking as the number 1 US TV drama franchise globally.
Production for NCIS: Sydney will start later in the year and we can't wait to see who will be cast and what locations and storylines will feature.
get the feeling an extraordinary number of the crimes on NCIS: SYDNEY are going to happen in close proximity to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge
